My favorite subject in school was English. I loved reading books and completing essay questions. I loved short stories and poems. My favorite book from elementary school was probably Hatchet. Middle school was The Outsiders and I read all the Goosebump books. Fell in love with Edgar Allen Poe in high school. I also loved history. I like learning and speaking about real things, real people, and world history. I really enjoyed the civil rights movement and any other form of black history. It sucks that they’re removing a lot of books and history from the schools. All history should be spoken of and remembered even if it makes some people uncomfortable. We must know what mistakes were made to not repeat them in the future.
