My first name is Jamelia. It’s Arabic and it means beautiful. It’s definitely a very unique name and fit’s me. It’s not a very common name in my culture. I have an older cousin named Jahmelia. My mom said she liked the name but she switched up the spelling and pronunciation. There are so many variations of my name. Jameelah, Jameila, Jamila etc.. I like my first name.. but I prefer to be called by my middle name Alicia or my nickname Leesh.
