One of the best gifts I got was last year for Valentines Day. The gift was sweet and nice. But I like the thought he put behind the things he bought me. Even down to him spraying his cologne on the bear he bought me so that it would smell like him. He didn’t buy me roses like most people do on Valentines Day. He had this colorful arrangement of flowers. They were beautiful.
He said looked like me as soon as he saw them. All down to the candy he bought me being super sweet and the bear on it was the cutest. I’m a person who loves thoughtful things and thought-out things. In the past I’ve received expensive bags, watches, expensive heels, clothes, fancy dinners etc… on Valentines Day. But none of it compared to what I felt seeing him standing at my door with those three items and that smile of his. I was damn near in tears. That was the best gift I’ve ever gotten hands down.
