What defines beauty to you?

Beauty to me is not a look… it’s a feeling. True beauty shines from the inside out.

I feel the most beautiful when I wash my makeup off at the end of the day. But I remember when I use to feel like I wasn’t beautiful at all. That was mainly due to me having acne/acne scars and low self esteem. Makeup was my crutch and it lifted my confidence up high. When I was feeling low.

It took me a while to realize that beauty isn’t defined by looks, features, clothing or labels. The world is full of women that have beautiful faces, banging bodies and beautiful possessions. But some of these women have unattractive mindsets, terrible attitudes and unpleasant personalities.

Beauty will get you noticed. But having a beautiful soul can open doors.

I remember when I hated my features. My eyes, nose, skin and weight could never be perfect enough for me. I’m sure someone out there is feeling the same way about themselves.

Over the years I’ve learned to embrace everything that I once saw as a flaw. I’ve also been able to work on those very flaws. Throughout the years I was able to get my acne under control. I spent so much money on things like Proactive and Acne org.

I’m not knocking or discrediting these brands at all. Because they did help my skin out while using them. But never did I think that a vanity planet spin brush, witch hazel and lemongrass soap would be the key to better skin. But guess what… it was!!

There are so many people who struggle with acne. Building a good skincare regime is a good place to start. But finding the right products for this can be tricky. I call it the trial and error phase.

Four Simple Steps For Better Skin:

  1. Cleanse your skin thoroughly (Vanity Planet Spinbrush).
  2. Find treatment for your acne (Salicylic Acid, Benzoyl Peroxide, Antibiotics, Adapalene).
  3. Find a good toner for hyperpigmentation ( I recommend, TN Dickinson’s Witch Hazel).
  4. Moisturize (Cetaphil).

I found this amazing Instagram page called Lavished By Nature. The owner Crystal Marie’s soaps are made with all natural products. Crystal also sells body butters, toners, body, beard and facial oils. She even has a variety of wellness teas.

Lavished by Nature’s soaps are amazing. They reduce skin inflammation, hydrate and fade dark spots. But let’s talk about the glow hunny. This soap brightens your skin so much. I noticed a change in my skin during the first week of using the lemongrass soap. IT IS BOMB!!! I’ve suggested it to all my family and friends.

So, if you suffer from hyperpigmentation and acne prone skin this soap will make a nice addition to your skincare routine.

It’s only $12.00…..Yep $12 bucks.

What is there to think about?? Order some today!!!

I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Additional Skincare Tips

Don’t pop pimples!!! This can cause inflammation of that area and scarring. (Trust me I know because I use to do it and it left my skin in bad shape.)

If you wear makeup it is so important to clean your makeup brushes regularly. Dirty brushes carry germs and bacteria that can cause breakouts.

After wearing makeup make sure you cleanse your skin thoroughly. Makeup can really get down in your pores. Which can result in clogged pores and breakouts. (The Vanity Planet Spinbrush will really help with this.)

If you don’t change your pillow cases regularly. PLEASE START. Pillowcases pick up dead skin, oil and much more which can cause breakouts.

Last but not least Drink Water…lots of it!!!
